On our travels around Australia, we met this amazing older man (Kev) and his wife (about 70 years old) who travel up and down Queensland fossicking for their own minerals, then cutting and polishing themselves. He was such a passionate soul with some amazing stories to tell.ย
We are so grateful that had the opportunity to meet them, look at the amazing minerals they have found around Australia and to be able to pass them onto you!

This beautiful stone gets its colour from its manganese content. It was first discovered in 1790 in the Ural Mountains. Rhodonite gets it name from the Greek word 'Rhodo' meaning 'rose'.

Rhodonite is a very calming crystal, it can help get us through panic attacks and helps us to clear away emotional wounds.
