Selenite gets its name from the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene, because of its soft glowing appearance and calming energy. Peach Selenite forms naturally with warm mineral inclusions that give it its beautiful peach and apricot colouring.
Selenite is a very soft mineral that can easily scratch or dissolve in water, which is why it’s best kept dry and handled gently.
